Alipayo reigned as champiom in tournaments such as the 19th Siargao National Surfing Cup and REEF Pro La Union.

At a young age of 15, she made a grand entrance to the sport by winning her first ever gold medal in the 2005 South East Asian Games. She continued on to win more gold medals in the 2011 and 2013 South East Asian games and won silver in the 2017 South East Asian Games.

A superstar both on the track and inside the classroom, Beram set the national record for the 200-meter dash and gave the country 2 gold medals and one bronze medal in the 2017 South East Asian Games, all while maintaining a stunning 3.9 GPA as a math major in the University of Connecticut.

Securing gold in the 2017 South East Asian Games and the 2017 Asian Athletics Championships, Cray is currently the national record holder for the 400-meter hurdles event.

Following her mother’s footsteps, 18 year old Kaitlin de Guzman is a Fiipino-American gymnast who brought home the gold for the Philippines in the 2017 South East Asian Games in the uneven bars event. Her mother, Cintamoni de Guzman, won gold in the same event in the 1995 South East Asian Games in Chang Mai.

Filipina weightlifter Hidilyn Diaz made the country proud as she donned her silver medal in the 2016 Summer Olympics held in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. Diaz’s silver ended the country’s 20-year medal drought in the prestigious competition. She has also bagged twin medals in the 2017 International Weightlifting Federation World Championships in Anaheim, California.

Deiparine is also the national record holder for breaststroke.

19 year-old Sienna Fines is a Filipino-American BMX speedster from the United States. At a young age, she has already been dominating the competition, winning gold in the Asian BMX Championships. During an interview, she said that her ultimate goal in the sport is to represent her country, the Philippines, in the Olympics.

She has won gold medals in the Asian Youth Games, Asian Championships, and was awarded as Rookie of the Year of UAAP Season 79.
